Summertime….and the Living is Easy

It’s summer and we all know what that means. Many people are vacationing, dreaming of being outside or they just aren’t as focused as they are during the rest of the year. However, while you’re in the office, you need to make sure you are still focusing on the things that are important. Like customer feedback.

Summer comes and goes, but you should want your clients in it for the long haul with you. And that means you need to continuously collect feedback from them, let them know you hear them and make changes based on their feedback.

So as you battle through the summer, keep these surveying tips in mind:

  • Don’t lead the respondent
  • Don’t assume you know what your customers are trying to say
  • Listen to what your customers are saying
  • Don’t ask too few questions  
  • A survey should leave your customers feeling empowered, not restricted

Now go ahead and enjoy your summer – but don’t forget to continuing surveying!
