Our surveys allow clients to collect vast amounts of data that can be analyzed and shared with their clients and colleagues using any of our 33 out of the box reports. If the reports generate multiple pages worth of data, it can make it cumbersome to distribute to colleagues or clients. Who wants to receive 30 pages of spreadsheets via email? Not only will the files be huge, but it won’t be easy on the eyes to look through 30 columns of data.
Cvent offers two ways to efficiently share the data you’ve collected with others, using either Parked Reports or Presentations without giving the contacts access to your Cvent account. In order to explain both options in detail, I’ll be breaking this up into a two part blog. In this blog, I’ll focus on discussing Parked Reports and its benefits when sharing survey results with others.
Parked Reports allows you to create a website where you can save and specify which reports you want to appear. The website is accessible to anyone with an email login and password. You can either restrict access by specific email address or by Report Users. Once the contact has been granted permission, they can go to the website and enter their login details. When the contact logs in to the website, they are able to view all the reports for that group.
This is extremely beneficial when you have lengthy reports since they can be easily viewed through the website. You can create various reports showing the data in different ways so that your contacts can choose to view the ones relevant to their studies. Contacts also have the option to export any of the reports into Excel if they need a hard copy. This is definitely more efficient than having to email contacts separately with the reports they need to view.
